Dr. Michael Bocklet, Board-Certified Orthodontist
Dr. Michael Bocklet, known to patients as Dr. Mike, is the eldest son of Dr. Cary Bocklet. Inspired from an early age by his father’s ability to transform smiles and positively impact lives, Dr. Mike discovered his own passion for orthodontics while working in the office during his college years.
He graduated from Clemson University before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Driven by a desire to deepen his expertise, he continued at MUSC to complete his orthodontic residency, a rigorous 3-year program where he honed his clinical skills and embraced the latest advancements in orthodontic care.
Now a board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Mike is committed to delivering exceptional, personalized treatment to each patient. He believes in a patient-first approach, focusing on open communication, education, and tailoring each treatment plan to fit the individual’s lifestyle and smile goals. His favorite part of orthodontics is building lasting relationships with patients and their families—making them feel truly seen, heard, and cared for.
Outside the office, Dr. Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Parker, their two sons, Hudson and Levi, and their labradoodle, Sully. Together, they love exploring the Charleston food scene, traveling, and spending time on the water.

Dr. Chris Bocklet, Board-Certified Orthodontist
Dr. Chris Bocklet, known to patients as Dr. Chris, is the younger son of Dr. Cary Bocklet. Like his older brother, he graduated from Clemson University before continuing his education at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), where he completed four years of dental school followed by three additional years of orthodontic residency.
While he found many aspects of dentistry compelling, it was the unique blend of problem-solving and artistry that ultimately led Dr. Chris to pursue orthodontics—the same profession he grew up watching his father enjoy so deeply. He finds great joy and pride in perfecting the small details that can create life-changing results, all while building meaningful relationships with the patients and families he serves.
Now a board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Chris is deeply committed to delivering exceptional care that balances precision, creativity, and compassion. His patient-centered approach is rooted in the belief that every smile transformation is both a personal journey and a collaborative process.
Outside the office, Dr. Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, McKenzie, and their son, Renfrow. They love golfing together, riding bikes at Kiawah Island, walking their Brittany Spaniel, Ally, and staying actively engaged with their church family at Grace City Church.
